Answer:  Vacuum regularly. Vacuuming removes the tiny dust, food particles, etc, that accumulate and get "ground-in to the upholstery fabric. 

Answer:  Turn cushions. If your furniture has reversible cushions, be sure to turn them over periodically. Through time, cushions sag or begin to wear unevenly; turning them will prolong their lives.

Answer:  The most common methods are: d foam extraction, dry cleaning with solvents, wet extraction ("steam") and aerosol. Of these methods, only dry foam extraction involves a dense soil dissolving foam. Gentle brushing separates soil from fabric; soil is removed by immediate vacuum extraction. 

Answer:  Dry foam extraction avoids the common hazards of overwetting: shrinkage, mildew, browning, dye bleeding or delamination.

                       W - Dry Foam or Water-Based cleaning agents may be used for cleaning. 

                 S - Dry clean only.  (This code is used very often as an "easy answer." If fabric passes the color­fastness test described earlier, it is

                      safe for dry foam cleaning.)

                X - Damp dust monthly with a solution of warm water and neutral detergent, such as mild· dishwashing liquid. 

               V - Vacuum or brush lightly to remove soil. Consult a professional for cleaning.
